Why should you get involved? UVic AERO competes in the AEAC national annual UAS Student competition each year, with a focus on developing lifesaving technology, specifically in the field of autonomous wild firefighting. As a non profit student club, community donations and sponsors allow our club to survive. In fact, your generosity is the sole reason we are able to provide experience in the aeronautical field to students and community members alike. We hold community involvement paramount, it is mission to give back to the community what the community gave to us. We acknowledge what a privilege it is to have the opportunity that we’ve been provided, and we use this privilege and recognition to inspire students, the youth, and even our patrons. Success is not seen as optional, it is necessary for us to give back to those who helped us along the way. We can not thank enough those who make this opportunity possible.
What We Do For You!
Your contributions won’t go unrecognized. We are proud to offer nationwide recognition to sponsors who make our mission possible. Depending on sponsorship tier, your organization will be represented in competitions across Canada. We are excited to showcase your brand across our social media platforms, team apparel, and the competition UAV’s, providing visibility to a community of over 21,000 students and industry leaders. Beyond exposure, we are committed to building a mutually beneficial relationship, offering partner organizations a direct connection to innovative, driven students who are eager to learn, contribute, and work in industry.
For Our Gracious Donors
If you believe in our cause and don’t care for recognition, we cordially except all donations! Our club operates under the University of Victoria’s registered charitable organization number, allowing us the opportunity to provide tax credit for donations of any size. On the bottom of this page we provide the link to the donation portal, along with instructions on how to receive full tax credit on individual monetary contributions. If you or your organization want to support our cause in ways other then the aforementioned, our club also accepts in-kind donations. We are continually in need of new tooling, equipment, and will happily raffle miscellaneous items to the student body while promoting your brand.

It is important to note that charitable donations are eligible for tax credit, however, due to tax regulations, this exempts you from our sponsorship benefits. If you wish to sponsor our team you reap the benefits of our sponsorship tiers, however these contributions are not eligible for tax credit.
